Bad News on the NFL Front

Posted by publisher in Ian Johnson

Sad news today for a few BSU beloved, Vinny Peretta and Ian Johnson. They were released from the Vikings during the NFL Cut-down day.  We're hoping, along with all other BSU fans, that they are either picked up by another team or at least placed on a practice squad.  This will not bode well for Chrissy's dream of her husband being a big NFL star.

Making a Statement

Posted by in Ian Johnson , Chrissy Popadics-Johnson

Looks like they are putting the rocky marriage rumors to rest. The Johnson couple have been recently spotted at various places around town holding hands, smiling and making the statement that they ARE a happily married couple, damnit! We're happy to see the Golden Boy and his Bride back in Boise as they await word on the draft.

Fine. Be that way.

Something that we find interesting is that Ian Johnson, the Golden Boy of Boise, The Poster Child of Boise State, The Blue and Orange Heir and our very Blue and Orange air, could really party it up all over town seeing as he is IAN FRICKIN JOHNSON, but doesn’t.

If there was a dirt-bag in there, inside that faux-hawked charming head of his, he would be taking massive advantage of his name and status at every opportunity he had, free meals, free drinks, free clothes, free tickets, free herpes, you name it. But Runs With A Quick Foot instead chooses to not. It seems he would rather keep it low key, low profile and low pretentious jerk.

Which, Fine. So be it. This is really quite vexing for us here at FameFifteen, though, since we would love to feature daily this beefed-up Celeb and his gorgeous Celeb Wife in their sickeningly sweet Celeb Coupledome but they really aren’t helping in this endeavor what with their continuous newlywedness.

So. At this time we can report that it appears as though Ian likes his wife Chrissy a lot and Chrissy likes her husband Ian a lot and they partake in activities such as spending time together a lot. And because we like them a lot, we are happy to report that. A lot.

(Fabulous extensions Chrissy!)

Practice Run

Posted by in Ian Johnson , Coach Pete , bsu football

Did we all enjoy the PeeWee Football practice over the weekend against ISU? We thoroughly did as well. We thought it was nice the way both teams came together through the Make-A-Wish Foundation so that ISU could have the opportunity to roll with the big boys while gazing upon our fancy new skybox. Who said the Broncos didn't care?

Gazing upon the charity event from the sidelines was Ian Johnson, watching his pal Avery run out the first carry. Which, what? BSU needs to not lead us on with false pretenses. Speculation arises on why Coach Pete didn't want to have his precious most precious starting the game after all. Beginnings of games are hard, in fact, the other team still thinks they have a shot, often times exuding optimism and animal like dominance-techniques involving posturing, beating of chests and establishing territory lines for pack breeding. A wise Coach would rather wait until the opposing team's spirit has been broken before he sends in his star, especially in a practice game such as this. It appears their souls were dead after the first down and The Big P was able to send his little button of pride out prancing onto the field, with a quick butt-pat on the way.

And wise was Big P. Because Ian did not disappoint doing all sorts of fantastical trickery involving a football and running really quite fast. 21 yard run, touchdown, 14 runs for 86 total yards and a 6.2 average. Looks as though the marriage-curse does not have a hold on this turf-runner.
